GREEN SCREEN
I had SO much fun editing this project. It was a great opportunity to try out animated typography and colour themes. My goal was to create experiment with some quirky, non-narrative short video styles to illustrate the creative process within working in green screen rather than employing a constructed place.
Initially, I was thinking of projecting a literal green screen onto my TV. After more failure than success, I transitioned to my cell phone instead to experiment with this same idea.
I used controlled studio setting, executing high quality lighting and footage.
I explored scale and layering, using animated text I drew on my sketchbook app. (this is when it really started to get fun)
All together, from incorporating sounds to FX to ultra keying and transitions, it was a completely liberating project. I loved exploring more creativity in video and having the opportunity to exercise stylistic choices into my videography
